4Shehnai India Musical Instrument made in Brass & Wood  Jun 04, 2010 By Mainesitar
As a Sitar & Shehnai player, I found this instrument well crafted, and
the hole spacing/pitch was perfect. The shipping from India was faster
than I could have imagined. The supplied reed was not the greatest
for playing, however each reed is different for different players.
I have recommended this product to my students, and as a backup I
thoroughly enjoy playing it.

3It looks good, but I couldn't figure out how to play it  Apr 24, 2010 By Crazy Gardener
I couldn't get even 1 note to come out of this instrument, however I am no woodwind player. The string around the mouthpiece fell apart as well. Perhaps this was only to display on a shelf, I don't know?

1no instructions  Aug 19, 2011 By dante "dante"
they could not deliever the date I wanted, they would not accept cancellation long befor they claim there deliever date. Advice, don't buy from India.

1A toy not worth the 60$  Mar 30, 2011 By shane d. williams
This SHehnai I recieved was a toy, i waited anxiuosly for it, once I opened the package I could see the shehnai was a mere toy!

I guess what does one expect for 60$? I excpected it to sound like a shehnai and not like a KAZOO!

Also the metal bell already fell of, that indian glue is worthless.

1No Notes  Jan 05, 2011 By slimpoet
I have been unable to make a sound other than maybe like a small sneezing mouse. I soaked the reed to no avail.
