Mandala with Amitayus Amitabha as the highest deity. The leaves around him also symbolize the instance of his Enlightenment. Amitayus, literally meaning unlimited life, is what Buddha is called in this form. He is regarded as the God of longevity. The ambrosia vase that is placed on his left palm is his special emblem. His right hand touches the ground while he sits in lotus posture.
